Last Mission: Rapture

Gordon was explaining on weapons he had handle. I was just listening with awed. Gordon has been with too many battles compared to me. His last mission was at Rapture (BioShock), in the middle of the north Atlantic, a lighthouse just out of the water. Inside waits a rusted bathysphere, which takes you deep under the ocean to Rapture, secretly built a city sprawling along the sea floor.

Rapture was entirely self-sufficient and powered by submarine volcanoes. Constructed by business magnate Andrew Ryan, Rapture was envisioned as the solution to what he saw as increasingly oppressive political and religious authority. The city was populated by those whom Ryan believed exemplified the best in humanity. It was revealed in an audio log that Ryan wanted Rapture to become an "Eden," a concept furthered by the resources ADAM and EVE, which are named after the biblical inhabitants of Eden.

Gordon remembered his scariest moment at Rapture. There was this one, at Fort Frolic. He entered a shop called Sinclaire Spirits and there were 3 cemented killing machines crawly splicers on each side of him, as he walked farther in towards a bar (Splicers are shells of the people they once were, mutated almost past any recognition of their former humanity). He found a button which after pressed opened a jammed door and entered through it. In the corner of the room there was a cemented splicer sitting in a chair. To the left there was a power for the weapon upgrader. After using it, as he turned around he saw the cemented splicer looking right at him in a frozen position after which it started attacking him and more and more splicers after that bla..bla..bla..bla..bla…so the story goes.

Yuna, don’t go there for a vacation..believe me!” convinced Gordon. The grand Art Deco architecture was at once futuristic and archaic, but as you step into Rapture, you find the city a shell of itself. The walls are crumbling and the ocean is seeping in. The hallways are littered with corpses, those who were once the best and brightest of the world above are now mutated and mad, roaming the corridors and waiting to ambush you at every turn. “Eeekkk..! then what were you there for?” wondering about his mission. “I was looking for little sister!” he explained. “What? I thought she’s in Bintulu?” I was shocked to hear the news. “Is she ok now? Did you get her?” Gordon was laughing his head off “Not that sister of mine la…I’m talking about the little sisters in there who would be helping me to rescue Atlas’ wife and child...oh man!” After hearing him about some cool weapons he had on and used, “I’d love to blast off some mutants”. “Yuna, this project was classified at UTHM…only meant for UTHM students k!” wakakakaka..he laughed. (What a jerk!)

The moral of the story, “Gordon loves to bully Yuna! Eeeekkk!”

A Bed time short video to laugh at

Bungyland

The day was hot and I don't feel like moving around so much. Switch on the aircond and listen to some sweet music. And soon, I was in my dreamland. New Zealand again! Well, can't help it..I love New Zealand. This time bungee jumping, the world’s great outdoor adventure playground, New Zealand - otherwise known as ‘Bungyland’.

Bungee jumping is an adventure sport that captures the essence of Kiwi outdoor life - it’s different, really ‘off the wall’. In this case it’s off a bridge or similar platform structure from 35 to 134 metres high. The bungee operator’s crew secure a strong latex rubber cord either to a full body harness or around the jumper’s ankles. The jumper hobbles to the edge of the platform, takes a deep breath and swan dives into space, free falling until the cord is fully extended. If the jump is over water there is usually a ‘splash-down’ or ‘water touch’ option and the jumper is retrieved by boat. Over land, the jumper is hoisted back up to the platform.

"Oh! come on..lets do it...it is just a jump!" Yuna persuaded Gordon. Kamen and his girl were laughing at the background. I remembered Gordon told me that he once jumped into a ravine when he was a boy. Gordon..didn't say anything...looking at me, smirking his face...then looking back at the platform...whatever was on his mind. "Alright!" he agreed and I was 'Yeah-ying!". Kamen just patted Gordon's right shoulder but was still laughing on. "We do it together! Deal?" Gordon looked at me perhaps making sure that I do it too. "Eeek! you dares Yuna?" Haven't you seen her jump from the airship, Celsius, in FF X-2 at the last episode where she finally found Tidus? You must be kidding me.

There were two platforms, the crews were busy tying up the bungee ropes around our ankles and some briefings. I can feel my heart was already beating fast. Nervous I guess. I didn't say a word and so was Gordon. I glanced at him to see if the crew is done with him. The cold wind makes me feel even more nervous. "Gosh! gosh! gosh! padan muka!" I said to myself but I have to do it. Actually there are many things I wanted to do in New Zealand. One of them is bungee jumping and I don't think I can do it alone. "Yuna! we jump together! After you!" suddenly I heard his voice. "Eh..alright!". I was at the edge, looking down. Gosh! Eeek! so high! my goodness! Eeek! (once again). I puffed and puffed a little..trying to calm myself. I slowly closed my eyes, ready to jump but opened again, this time looking at Gordon. He didn't say a word but murmuring something and waiting for my Que. "What now?" he said. Perhaps he wants get over it and done quickly but I was stalling. Then I remembered Yuna's jump at Bevelle escaping from Maester Seymour. That thought has given me the strength...so I crossed by arms and closed my eyes. I did Exactly what Yuna Braska did..."Gordon, I am going to jump, NOW!" and I leaped and screamed "AARRRRGGHHH...GGOOOORRRDOOON!!" and I heard my name "Haha! YYYUUUUNNNIIIEEE!! We did it!" Then I watched Gordon and his fall. I dare not looked at my surrounding. I closed and opened my eyes. Closed when I'm scared and opened to watched Gordon, repeatedly until I felt a harsh tugged at my legs. We were laughing and I felt reliefs that it was over. Though it was awfully frightening but it was great. Yeah, Great! Wuhoo!

I think the next time, I'll try to dream the part where Kamen and his girl does the jumping instead. Gordon and I will dare them with tattooing instead. Hahahaha..."Would you dare?"

The moral of the story. "Don't just dream. Go to sleep la..because you are not sleeping if you keep on day dreaming. Hahahaha... "

Japan's Hiro!

Yuna, lets go to Tokyo!” Kamen suggested. “What’s up with Tokyo? In search of Ultraman?” That was the first thing I thought of which associate with Tokyo. Oh,Yeah? (LOL) “Nope, I wanted to meet all the Kamen Riders!” he explained. Oh man, how could I forget? Those are his passion. He has been sending me files, pictures of the Kamen Riders. “Take these (files)! Aren’t they beautiful?” said Kamen who cannot help himself. I’m not really a Masked Rider fan but my eyes flutter at the thought of Hiro Mizushima, Masked Rider Kabuto. He is so adorable and cute. I fell in love with him the day Kamen showed me his picture. Infatuation? Ya, I guess so…Puppy love?...Ya! that too. …Lovey-dovey?...hahahaha, I’m already swoon over his charismatic smile. “Yeah! We go to Tokyo! I want to meet Hiro too and make a date with him” I was getting excited already. Then, I though of Gordon, that day he suggested we go to Tokyo. It was about shushi and Mount Fuji. Oh how could I forget? Oh man…..

Tokyo, is the seat of the Japanese government and the Imperial Palace, and the home of the Japanese Imperial Family, Tokyo is the de facto capital of Japan and is the most populous prefecture and city in the country with the total population of the prefecture exceeds 12 million people. Now, how can we find these Kamen Riders among all these people? Oh yes!The official TV station, TV-Asahi! What a brilliant idea..huhuhuhu…Let me check. “Got it! TV Asahi Corporation, 6-9-1 Roponggi, Minato-ku, Tokyo 106-8001,Japan!” and off we go!

Pillion on Kamen’s super bike, the Bee Machine Zectron. Wow, I really underestimate it. It was fantastic! The Zectron Pinch is the standard weapon equipped to the bike. It launches a molecular shock forward, ridding any obstacles ahead. And I, I love the feeling of the wind in my hair. “Yuna, hang on tight will ya. The speed could blow you off” he warned. Huhuhu ...”Holding on tight, ya?” I was thinking. “Kamen, just don’t fart!” I replied adding some humour. “Say what?” as he accelerates for more speed. “Are we there yet?” This question reminds me of Shrek. Hahahaha….Hmmm...no answer

Sorry people, we are lost. Do you know where is Minato-ku? We’re Malaysian. Hardly speak Japanese. Only Gordon knows Japanese….GORDON!!!!!!!!

The moral of the story, “When you are in love, you go all the length to be with your loved one”

Hot Spring of New Zealand

Yuna, it’s late! Shall we call it a day?” Gordon finally gave up his midnight oil. Perhaps he was trying to keep up with her who seems non-stoppable at whatever she’s doing or up to. “Geez, she must learn to rest” he thought. “Oh? OK!” Yuna waited for awhile, still dilly-dally at Tribalwars’ world. She has been diligently recruiting troops for a few sitting accounts. Her mission is to get her team at par with the others. Her ambition is far too high I guess. Anyway she’s a Capricorn. Always on a higher ground! “After you please” he continued. But it is not like him waiting for her to sign out and she wondered. “Gordon, is there a matter?” After a short pause, he replied “Don’t cheat because I don’t want you to stay on after me”. I guess there was a growing concern on health matter.

“Alright, let’s go to the hot spring in New Zealand. I am tired and I guess we both are” I replied. Gordon was eager about it. Perhaps he has never thought of skin dipping in a hot spring. That would be fun for a change since almost every night we fight! fight! fight! You bring that weapons and I got these. We went on bla..bla..bla..about fighting against evil and monster. And at some days we had Mr Kamen Rider joining us in our battle. He is such a sport! “ Oh Yuna, don’t forget to bring along your weapon, I am bringing mine” Gordon reminded me. “Excuse me, whatever for?” me getting annoyed as I really wanted some peace and quiet. “What if there were aliens as we lounge by the hot spring?” he said. “I have here with me my dress sphere, remember?” (Because I am Yuna. I am who I am. Ever ready and steadfast! Hahahaha…..)

It was a beautiful morning, Gordon and I was just relaxing by the hot spring pool. The ambiance was marvelous. From the south, the Artic brings in the cold wind greeting the warmth of the hot spring forming a soft steam surrounding the area, it was so rejuvenating. “Aaah..luxury!” I said to myself. Suddenly there was a big splash. Splashing and splashing! “What the…” before Gordon could finish his sentence and put on his glasses “Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Hey! Hey!Hey! Stop it” he screamed. Someone or something was there. Until the steam from the spring cleared…we finally realized it was Karmen Rider. In his bright red cloak, wet, he was laughing and toying with Gordon. “Hey, you both are not going to leave me out, are ya?” as he snickered. “For goodness sake, Kamen, I was about to blow your nuts. Stop goofing around will ya” In my hands I have a pair of heavily-customized chrome AMT Hardballers, dubbed Silverballers. Got it from Agent 47 (Hitman).

The moral of the story “The more the merrier! Just join us la..you are never alone if you have best friends!”

Mission: Raccoon City

"Where are we going?" Yuna (FF X) asked Gordon Freeman (HL), her nightly rendezvous partner. "It is your call" he said. Something was fishy but perhaps he was just tired. I looked at the clock which was ticking loudly, showed it was already 5 am in the morning. By the way, have you ever see Mr Freeman smiled before? He seems to be preoccupied in his own agenda. He is more of an action man than a talking man. Have you seen him talked? Oh brother!

Beep-beep-beep-beep…a message just came through. “We’re going to the Raccoon City tonight. I’ll meet you at the Police Station”. Claire Redfield (RE2) sent a message. She’s with Jill Valentine (RE3) and Leon Kennedy (RE4). Wuhoo! Raccoon City! Personally, I think it is more fun gunning down zombies than the Big Daddy (Bioshock) at the underwater Objectivist-dystopian city of Rapture.

“Gordon, ETA 5:15 am, police station in Raccoon City. We only have 3 hours to be there before the city being hit to ground zero” feeding Gordon with our next mission. “OK, I am taking with me the ion cannon”, said Gordon. A fictional beam weapon that fires beams of ions (particles, i.e. atoms that have been affected in some way as to cause them to gain an electrical charge) Due to its power it is usually classified as a superweapon. “Wow! so powerful ha? But there are only zombies, mutants and Nemesis. It won’t be that hard to kill. I only have with me my gun slingers” FYI on Yuna, just do not under estimate her capability. She may be a bit childish-innocent looking girl but she’s a Summoner, Summoning Magic, which calls on powerful entities to attack enemies, protect the party, or render other forms of aid. Also, armed in her dress sphere which allows to do cast different spells and launch new attacks on the enemies. This system involves the use of spheres to change into a certain class enabling the use of various special abilities and attacks. “What are we there for?” asked Gordon and he seem annoyed. “In search of Mr Kamen Rider, he’s lost in that city. We need to get him out ASAP!” Oh man….just when we thought of having a good time relaxing by the hot spring in New Zealand. It's about time anyway, to kick our shoes off after a couple of hard days blasting off the Aliens and Predators. Did you watched that movie? Did you saw us? Cool ha? (Hahahaha....LOL)

The moral of the story, “Do not!” I repeat, “DO NOT travel alone on a super bike and clueless about your where being. You will ended up like Mr Kamen Rider in whatever forms chasing monsters from Japan and ending in the playstation games” Hahahahaha…..I hope you enjoyed the story. Goodnight and sweet dream!
